The committees

Ecological Committee
The Ecological Committee of the Lycée Français Louis Pasteur of Bogotá brings together students who are passionate about sustainability and environmental protection. Its goal is to provide a space where students can design and lead concrete initiatives, such as clothing swap events, craft workshops using recycled materials, and awareness campaigns.
Throughout the school year, the committee works closely with the eco-delegates to implement and promote eco-friendly practices across the campus. Together, they engage the school community in building a more sustainable and environmentally responsible learning environment.

Committees VI & V
The VI and V committees are student groups responsible for organizing their graduating class’s Prom. Although not official school bodies, they play a key role in the school’s social life.
The VI committee consists of senior-year (Terminale) students, while the V committee includes juniors (Première). Each committee elects its presidents and is divided into subcommittees handling different tasks, such as senior jackets, the yearbook, events, and more.
Throughout the school year, these committees lead various fundraising initiatives to finance the Prom. They also organize signature events like the Gastronomic Festival and produce the class’s yearbook, supported financially and logistically by the school.

Cultural Committee
The Cultural Committee at the Lycée Français Louis Pasteur is a dynamic student initiative that promotes creativity, diversity, and active participation in the school’s cultural life. Composed of high school students, the committee’s main goal is to plan, organize, and host events that celebrate the richness of artistic and cultural expressions.
Its flagship event is the highly anticipated Cultural Week, an annual celebration that transforms the school into a vibrant space filled with exhibitions, lectures, music performances, workshops, and activities showcasing diverse cultures.
Committee members play an essential role by proposing ideas, handling logistics, and taking on leadership, communication, and teamwork responsibilities. This experience helps students develop transferable skills while strengthening their sense of community within the school.
