UNSS AS

The UNSS (National School Sports Union) at Lycée Français Louis Pasteur of Bogotá is a mandatory sports association in all French middle and high schools. It is an integral part of the school’s educational project, aiming to promote school life, encourage physical activity, and contribute to students’ academic success.

Through UNSS, students can participate in a wide range of sports and artistic activities, discovering new disciplines or improving their skills in a specific sport. The association organizes and promotes inter-school competitions, encouraging sports excellence. Students also have the opportunity to compete at national and international levels thanks to the affiliation with UNSS and the AMLANORD League.

UNSS also provides training for young referees, lifeguards, reporters, and volunteers, involving them actively in the association’s board.

A key goal is to strengthen students’ sense of belonging, creating a community of responsible and engaged youth in school life. For example, the “PARIS 2024” collective encourages students to actively participate in the association and exercise their citizenship.

In summary, UNSS not only promotes physical and sports activities but also instills important values such as responsibility, teamwork, and social commitment.
