Call for Applications – High School English Teacher

The Lycée Français Louis Pasteur of Bogotá is looking for

An English Teacher (Secondary Level)

Submit your application as a single PDF file containing:

  • a cover letter,

  • your CV, and

  • copies of supporting documents (ID, visa, apostilled university diplomas, proof of language proficiency in English and French, employment certificates, classroom observation or inspection reports, and authorization to consult national databases related to working with children and adolescents).

If you are currently in Colombia, please include certificates of affiliation to the Colombian social security system.
If you are a foreign applicant, you must hold a visa that allows you to begin working immediately at the Lycée Français Louis Pasteur.

Specific Teaching Responsibilities

Teaching must comply with the French national curriculum and align with the priorities set out in the school’s educational project.

Profile and Required Skills

  • Must be trained in teaching professions

  • Either a French National Education certified teacher on leave, or hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education and a Master’s degree in Foreign Languages (English and French)

Employment Terms

  • Start date: November 1, 2025

  • Contract: Full-time, fixed-term local contract

  • Vacation: According to the school calendar

The Lycée Français Louis Pasteur of Bogotá is looking for

A Student secretary

Under the authority of the Deputy Principal, this role supports student services, acting as a liaison between students and the various administrative departments, and assists with administrative tasks related to the French educational system.

  • Cover letter

  • CV

  • Copies of requested documents (identity document – cédula or passport for foreigners without a Colombian ID, diplomas and language certificates, work certificates) apostilled and recognized.

  • In the cover letter, include authorization to consult state databases for working with children and adolescents.

  • Include the visa that allows you to work immediately in Colombia and proof of affiliation with Colombian social security.

Profile:

  • Professional or technical diploma in administrative or accounting management

  • Proficiency in French and Spanish, native or C1 level according to the European framework

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar positions or in a school administrative department

  • Strong interpersonal skills, sense of responsibility, service-oriented, dynamic, and discreet

  • Organizational skills, ability to anticipate and manage tasks, effective time management, and information processing

  • Strong client relations skills, ease of communication with parents, students, and internal teams

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other technological tools

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the academic tracking platform

  • Participate in the organization of school trips and outings

  • Assist with registration for exams in the French system

  • Support the organization of student internships and/or observation visits

  • Assist with administrative tasks under the Deputy Principal

Contract Conditions:

  • Fixed-term contract

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week

  • Position available from November 3, 2025

  • Must be authorized to work immediately in Colombia

Renovation and extension of the preschool sanitary facilities

The proposals must meet functional, regulatory, and comfort requirements, in line with the operational and educational needs of our school community.
